Making Quality Personal

Thermo Fisher Scientific  has partnered with  Tack TMI to design and launch the Making Quality Personal (MQP) experience to strengthen and standardize quality practices across the organization on a global scale.

Making Quality Personal (MQP) has already reached over 24,000 employees out of Thermo Fisher’s total 125,000 global workforce.

Tack TMI has been delivering this initiative virtually via Microsoft Teams and Webex. As a result, employees have the flexibility to choose how, when and where to engage with the experience. On top of that, a range of supporting tools and resources enables different sites and functions to tailor the content to their specific needs. This means ensuring local relevance while maintaining a unified message.

Making Quality Personal

Brooke Stambersky, Manager of the MQP Project Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, says:

“When you hear colleagues within the company using Making Quality Personal (MQP) terminology such as ‘parachute packer’ in the course of their day, you know that the experience has resonated with them. As we roll the Making Quality Personal (MQP) experience out to more businesses and sites over the coming year we expect to continue to see a positive impact.”

The Challenge:

Thermo Fisher Scientific set out to strengthen quality across the organization. How Thermo Fisher Scientific intended to achieve it? By encouraging every employee to take personal ownership in driving improvement and delivering excellence.

The Solution:

To meet this objective, Tack TMI developed and launched the Making Quality Personal (MQP) virtual experience – a highly interactive, time-efficient, and easily accessible programme that communicates a consistent quality message to all employees globally.

Making Quality Personal

Christine Reino, Thermo Fisher Scientific Project Manager for Corporate Quality and Regulatory, highlights:

“Through the use of storytelling and personal story and anecdote development around good and poor quality, we delivered compelling and educational modules to engage our teams.”
